Media Specialist – UAE National

Job Purpose

A Government Entity based in Abu Dhabi is currently looking to hire a Media Specialist who will be responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of activities aimed at enhancing the organization’s media presence, in alignment with the overall media strategy and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage media agency relationships, including quotations and placements.
  • Brief social media agencies and ensure campaigns meet requirements.
  • Publish content according to the media plan.
  • Coordinate with departments to maintain media subscriptions.
  • Develop social media activations to engage followers.
  • Create templates for internal communications, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Identify and manage corporate events to enhance reputation.
  • Coordinate logistics for events and prepare publicity materials.
    Qualifications / Experience Required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Social Marketing / Media / Event Management.
    • Relevant certifications such as Certified Marketing Executive (CEM) or Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) with experience in social media tools such as desk.com, Simply Measured, Hootesuite etc.
    • 6 – 10 years of relevant experience in Media / Event Management.
