PR HEAD / PR MANAGER
Job Purpose
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Public Relations Head who has extensive experience in Personal Branding with a solid background in Public Relations to help the company build and maintain strong personal brands.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement a comprehensive personal branding strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and supports the senior individuals professional goals.
- Craft compelling narratives and positioning strategies that highlight the senior individuals strengths and unique selling propositions.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, and securing features in key media outlets.
- Identify opportunities for the senior individuals to participate in speaking engagements, conferences, interviews, and other public appearances to boost their visibility and credibility within the industry.
- Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media professionals to enhance clients’ public visibility.
- Oversee social media strategies and content creation to ensure consistent and authentic online presence.
- Build and nurture relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure press coverage and media opportunities for the senior individuals, leveraging its expertise and achievements to strengthen the professional reputation.
- Create and facilitate networking opportunities for the senior individuals by connecting them with key stakeholders, influencers, and industry leaders to expand their professional network and increase their visibility.
- Analyze industry trends to adjust branding and PR strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the creative and digital marketing teams to align branding strategies with broader advertising efforts.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in personal branding and public relations, preferably within an advertising or PR agency.
- Proven track record of managing personal brands for high-profile clients or executives, in branding digital marketing or public relations roles with a focus on personal branding preferred.
- Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong media relations network and experience securing press coverage in major outlets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and ever-changing environments.
- Experience with crisis communication and reputation management is a plus.
