SENIOR ARABIC COPYWRITER
Job Purpose
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Arabic Copywriter to lead the creation of compelling content for Arabic-speaking audiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Arabic language, cultural nuances, and the ability to craft impactful narratives across various media. This role involves working closely with creative teams, mentoring junior writers, and ensuring all content aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality Arabic content for digital, print, and social media platforms, including websites, emails, advertisements, and more.
- Uphold and refine the brand’s Arabic voice, ensuring consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop content strategies and concepts that resonate with Arabic-speaking audiences and meet business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of junior copywriters, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
- Oversee the editing and proofreading of Arabic content to ensure it is free of errors, culturally relevant, and aligned with the brand’s tone.
- Translate and adapt English content into Arabic, ensuring that meaning, tone, and intent are preserved while making content culturally appropriate.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, delivering content that aligns with their vision.
- Stay informed about market trends, cultural developments, and audience preferences within Arabic-speaking regions to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Work closely with SEO specialists to optimize Arabic content for search engines, improving visibility and engagement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Arabic copywriting, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of Arabic content, including successful campaigns and creative projects.
- Native-level proficiency in Arabic and fluency in English.
- Experience with content creation in specific industries (e.g., finance, technology, healthcare).
- Familiarity with Arabic dialects and cultural differences across the MENA region.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing tools.
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to develop innovative ideas that engage and persuade Arabic-speaking audiences.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of writers.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills with a focus on accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
